Domain Name registrations are valid for a period of two years from the date registered.
As of 1 February 2018, the Digital Transformation Agency is managing gov.au domains on behalf of registrants and domain name licences will be renewed by default. Note that renewal notices will no longer be generated and registrants will not be required to take any action to renew a domain name. The DTA will pay the Registry licence fee on behalf of registrants.
If a domain is no longer required, please submit a domain deletion request form.
If you have any questions please contact your Domain Provider.
