Name server change

    This service is for adding and removing name servers to/from gov.au domains. 

    • If you need to make changes to your DNS settings (e.g. TTL, A records, CNAME, MX records) you will need to contact your Authoritative DNS service provider.
    • Name server change requests must be submitted by the Registrant or Technical Contact of the domain (refer to .au Whois lookup). An email will be sent to the contact email which requires a reply to authorise and confirm the change (other relevant contact for the change may be cc'd in the reply).
    • We will advise completion of the changes by replying to the confirmation email.

    If you wish to modify multiple domain names with this request, please enter them one per line.

    With the removal and addition of the name servers, please ensure that the result contains at least 2 or more name servers. You can view the existing name servers by doing an .au Whois Lookup. 

    If the name servers are glue records, please also supply their IP addresses.
